The department takes immense pride in cultivating a strong foundation in Rachana Sharira, an ancient science, and correlating its classical concepts with modern anatomical science through evidence-based study. The primary focus is on practical learning, achieved through cadaveric dissection and the maintenance of a live museum displaying various anatomical specimens. Students are actively encouraged to participate in the development of the department by preparing working models, charts, and teaching aids, which strengthens their understanding and belief in the science.
